CR: A small consolation

Post by Peace »

Here's my little catch from the fishing I did over the weekend, this fish came out of my expectation considering it the prolonged heavy rain had turned the water murky. I think the fish god must had pity the stubborn fool for fishing in the rain.

The fish is beautiful and it is your reward on your patience and determination to stay in the rain.

A Chermin !

Look at those long long hair .... soooooooooo long ... it's a baby !

Fishing in the rain ... very fun thing to do ...
And get rewarded with a fish at the end of the day will make the trip even more memorable.

Congratulation to you Peace.
Now you can have fish for dinner !

OT a bit here ...

Remembering an incident about 2 yrs back ...
We were fishing in a remote area accessible only by foot ..
I remembered that nite it rained cats and dogs ...
The rain began with a light drizzles and proceed to heavier and heavier downpours ...
But we refused to go home after trekking all the way there.
Fish on and had fun ... ignoring the rain ...
After some hours of light showers in the rain ...it "stop" !
We rejoiced and thought to ourself ..." ho seh liao ...hor teng liao ..toa hurr lai liao! "
I remembered playing along the shore and was greeted with beautiful luminous green n blue jelly fishes.
Many many of them.
The water was so clear n cold ... you can see them clearly.
We caught some good size cuttlefish ...it was really fun.

But ... we didn't realised it was a warning for us to go home.
We actually had enough time to trekked back to the car but we were attracted by the interesting sightings.
The rain came again ... this time ... stronger !
I can feel pain as the rain drop hit onto me ...
I remembered clearly the scene ... Simon even asked me " 痛不痛?"

Finally after many hours of fun in the rain ... we had to packed up and walked home.
It was very dark ... we were very cold ...
But we were laughing at each other as we walked back to the car.

A very memorable trip which we really enjoyed.
Guess I won't forget this incident until the day I close my eyes. :yay:

Haha, looks like you guys actually love playing in the rain. I would like that too except the cold always leave me squatting down in my poncho shivering away. Sometimes the more you want to wait out the rain, the longer it lasts. I thought I outlasted the rain and wanted to fish more despite the cold and wet feeling. A long-awaited fish certainly does give one surprising motivation to keep going. ;)

But it was then I saw another wave of rain moving towards me in a distance. I knew if I didn't pack up then, it's going to be cold, wet and dark... :sweatdrop:

Lesson 1: Cats not scared of rain ... (if it has ponchos)
Lesson 2: Cats motivation is as far as 1 (ONE) wave of rain ... :yay:
Lesson 3: Got rain still got fish ...

Peace, well done, good to eat? ... I haven't seen sea fishes for many many moons already. dBs now very busy catching Ah Seng.
