What greeted us was a total shock to me.
It used to be green ... now it's all brown !
Gone were the green bushes and tall lallangs ... pretty flowers and sweet pine
Those familiar creatures ... greeny, lizzy, doggy ... all gone!
This round of continuous showers will bring back life to this place.
A place we shared many happy memories
Returned to our old playground for some fun by the high wall yesterday ...
The fresh air, sea breeze and usual sound of waves hitting against the high wall ...
I had fun with the pesky fishes ... never get tired of them.
The little pirates always come stealing my baits ... it was so thrilling.
I was lucky to have landed a small leng chiam while playing with the little ones near the high wall.
Simon who smells like a catfish now ... landed a small kitty from the wild.
While we were having lots of fun ... a sudden storm rushing towards us from the middle of the sea ...
All I saw was a darken patch coming nearer n near towards us ...
I screamed to Simon ... " 快点收，雨来了！"
Before he can even react ... the rain hit us.
We hide out in the car ... it went away in a mere 5-10 mins ...
But it was a warning to us ...
Ignoring it ... we carried on fishing ...
Short moments later ... the storm returns ...
We wanted to wait out but it look like it's going to last through the nite ...
Simon with an umbrella in hand ... brave the rain and packed up everything.
We headed home ... but we know we will be back for more fun ... soon
I'm sure the critters there have moved to a safer parts of the grassland. On the bright side, you still get to see the familiar fishes still. Too bad about the storm though, the nice warm sea breeze is short lived. I'm sure you guys will have more action on the line the next time you come back!
