Re: Oriental Whip Snake
Nice shots of Greeny and its video, an ultra zoom camera sure comes in handy for you. How about a super macro shot of its tongue for something more adventurous?

Suddenly ...I set sight on a pair of unfriendly eye looking right into mine
Greeny was merely inches away from me
I was taken aback n fell to the ground

Sharing my excitement and joy with greeny, my pet !
Love these few shots especially the 2nd one ... greeny is smiling with it's eyes ~
Not very well taken but the look on greeny face simply makes me wanna get closer
sometimes ... the surrounding environment simply don't allow me to get any closer ...
Just in case greeny is not in the right mood for photo shoot. lol !

Their natural habitat.
A mildly venomous, yet docile species, the Oriental Whip Snake is commonly found in forested and rural areas.
It feeds on vertebrates, including small nesting birds, lizards and frogs.
The young are born alive, and are brownish in color.
Its profile is slim and elegant, and adult coloration may vary from light brown to dull yellow-green and often a startling fluorescent green.
There is commonly a thin pale line along the sides of the body.
It is most commonly encountered whilst sunning itself on secondary growth along the forest edge.

Re: Oriental Whip Snake
You sure know where to look for them every time you're there. The closeups are pretty good, I would think you're not afraid to get up close and personal with these greenies by now.
