Its the sagai season at bedok again!! From 500gram fish to 5-6 kg ones splashing making the tambans go absolutely wild at bedok jetty WOOOSH haha like that HUGE splashes everywhere But oh well there simply no way to catch them One of the regulars there rigged up a shooting rig and managed to hook up...

I used to think that cable car will be the best for Queenie's
Until I started seeing the regulars only pulling up parangs and todaks on it
Usually queenfish on cable car are smaller and the bigger ones are on LSBF

good question been trying saltwater luring lately, but with no catch so far im really not sure but i would assume a nice shore luring rod around 8ft would be good for leader you would go a little thicker in case you hit kims or barracudas 30-40lb? as for mainline 10-15lb should be gd lastly for lure...

I've been thinking for a lighter reel would a nasci or ultegra c3000 be sufficient for offshore?
I know it would be perfect for shore luring
Was thinking on the 4kHG but I realised that its gear ratio is not so suitable for offshore fishing
