Hey, i am interested in trying out fly fishing but i have no experience or any tackle for fly fishing.
Could give me some suggestion on where i can get some fly fishing tackles and how or where to do fly fishing.

Haha, for me , as long as there is no signs saying no fishing in msia, i always take that as can fish, if got any ranger or people confront you, just prepare some $10 notes and most likely you get to fish to your heart desire~

The tackle shop near my house got sell baitcast reel which is above 50.And the surfcast reel there i've never know the price before but the spinning reels there is more cheaper.One reel will cost u only $10-$20 or above!!!!!! Haha, notice that point about mono lines, they seem to be too stiff when i first got it and easily jump out of the spool making a whole mess and the stretching part of it makes me worry a lot about the line breaking. :cry: I still prefer braided line as it is the first line that the tackle shop uncl...

Haha thanks for the advice, the thing is that i am using a 20lbs line for light luring set :o but casting wise seem okay to me. oh i am interested in this also. The tackle shop that i usually buy my stuff from in msia only got spinning rods and reels, want to try bait casting rod with surf real but seem quite expensive, any cheap shop near the north?

Hm...i thought that would depend on the rod itself, whether it is build for spinning or bait casting. Cause one of my rod is 2.1m and it is a spinning rod.

I usually use ReliX coral star rod with Shimano Alivio 1000 reel for light luring or jigging, but is this setup suitable?
