Certainly but they can grow rather big and fast. They may also have a tendency to jump out of the tank if they find it too crampy.

I used to that while fishing from jetties, its quite entertaining to look at them while you take breaks from do the fishing stuff.

Definitely an introduced species. Freshwater pay ponds usually have this fish, it's inevitable that the will make way into our natural bodies.

Yes, if you have a big enough tank for it to grow. They're pretty hardy and easy to keep.

It's common for groupers take down large preys relative to their size, they do have a big mouth afterall. Don't be afraid to use large artificial lures or baits when hunting for groupers.

Yes, you can catch them on live baits but in most places where they are found, use of live bait is prohibited.

Yes, they are commonly found in rivers and coastal areas, so can tolerate fresh and saltwater.
