nice muddie u got there law u dont really have to go down the mud and deploy your cages, just throw them out like a frisbee . and like what alibaba said, try to recce your spot 1st, the rocks may damage the cage netting when u are retrieving it. as for tieing alibaba is the sifu, he taught me how to tie :P

Finally got some time to head down to six pipes today.
Tide start rising at 0530
Time reached: 1030 (totally overslept haha )
It's quite hard to miss out the two jetty structure here. Can either park at carpark G or the small road leading to the power station. (which was packed with cars)
Alot of people fishing. And i wasn't really sure where to cast the traps. So i threw at the side that's closer to the sailing centre side. Was actually thinking of throwing at the big drain further in.. but decided to stick to the outside la. any brothers throw at the big drain before?
Not much business today though, cos I reached at 1030 and the tides started going down at 1254.. but at least i got this little fella. damn fierce leh the pincers making a loud kiap to threaten me. to be honest i was a little scared cos there's no way i could get behind it! hahah oh wells in the end when i was stepping on the back shell it somehow managed to kiap my slipper and didnt let go for 30min
Got a big flower crab too! but it somehow escaped my storage net!
conclusion: good place to crab! better than kelong walk in my opinion. will make a mental note to go there when the tide is just rising next time!

I'd never expect six pipes to be one of the better crabbing spots and you've caught a mud crab there. Nice work there. You have to step firmly on its shell so it doesn't slip and get a chance to snip you. If it's not scuttling away, just wait a little bit while the atmosphere tires the crab out.

haha yah loh this muddie like on steriods like that.. no way i could out run it sia! and i realized its grabbing radius is extended to just behind the shell near its eyes also. so dun step too high up next time!

Fishing is unquestionably a form of madness, but happily, for once bitten, there is no cure. --Francis
