Hey peacy!
I've been thinking for a lighter reel would a nasci or ultegra c3000 be sufficient for offshore?
I know it would be perfect for shore luring
Was thinking on the 4kHG but I realised that its gear ratio is not so suitable for offshore fishing
Fishing is indeed not a cheap sport haixx

Heh, you're overthinking it. High speed reels certainly can be used for bottom fishing as well, in fact you're more likely to see more circumstances whereby trading torque for speed is more beneficial. C3000 is okay too but you won't match the retrieval rate or torque of 4k or 5k. I would go for C3000 for luring or jigging, the lighter weight gives you more finesse to work your lure and lets you fish longer.
