As with other edible fishes, it's really up to the angler's choice. For me, I would take home a grouper of decent size any day.

As far as I know, no. Personally, I can't tell the difference in meat quality. It's usually believed, especially by Chinese, that red(orange) colour fish is of better quality than black ones. :lol:

MSP has a long stretch of breakwaters, perfect for grouper fishing. I have caught a few from there as well.
