Snakehead Murrel is what we call Haruan/Aruan, which is a smaller species compared to the Giant snakeheads. Other types of snakeheads also exists in our water including dwarf, forest and black snakeheads.

Yep..all have one similarity:protective parents.
Haruan or Toman can also be used for soups for people who have just finished a surgery.

Is it okay to use those baby fishes at pet shops to use as bait for them?

Small fishes are part of their natural diet afterall, it's definitely a viable bait. Other than that, what other people think of it is subjective.

I used to use live bait (baby fish) as bait but now my parents only allowed using bread or lures

People commonly see it as a form of cruelty, perhaps that's why your parents don't like you using it. Then again, fishing viewed as cruel is just as common. I guess using bread or lures makes it slightly 'better'.

It’s not really like that they say baiting at freshwater areas are illegal
